    I used honey to wash my hair months ago. However, I decided to wash my face with honey lately. It really works with my acne prone skin. Since this discovery, it’s my new cleanser so far. I had acne years ago & I can honestly say that it really helps to diminish (and even eradicate) the remaining blemishes on my face now. I am so shocked (impressed) how this natural product truly is efficient! People sometimes forget how much natural products and/or foods are quite priceless when it comes to our health, skin, etc. Sometimes (well, often!), ‘’Less is more’’. 😊

    I would never use baby oil! What oil is that? Castor oil and fractionated coconut oil are the best for skin and face. Stay away from seed oils because it causes estrogen imbalances. All seed oils are bad for women…stay away from eating or applying to the largest organ which is the skin.

    Mineral oil is a better option for us acne-prone, sensitive skin, oily skin types who cant tolerate jojoba or hemp, grapeseed or rosehip, precisely because it does nothing except seal in moisture and prevent TEWL, esp when we are using BHA or tret. Ditto zinc-oxide...i break out in hives from it, but not from most chemical sunscreens (except fragranced ones, yikes). Coconut oil, Shea butter and Rosehip also cause all kinds of probs for me, but diy oat water and oat baths are amazing!!! ❤ I avoided Benzoyl Peroxide for 15 years and my back acne never ever got better but then i finally used B.P. gel 5% followed by a prescription emollient nightly actually cured the acne and improved my mental health as a result. This has taught me to be as flexible as possible in terms of skin, and to never let my anxiety about a particular product on one part of the body influence my choice of product for another part of my body.

    The essential problem is the fact that actually with any sort of a nutrition you will not be able to avoid to absorb toxins. So it will be essential to excrete these ones consequently in a regular manner, this by the internal oil cleansing with castor oil. By swallowing castor oil you will not only be able to cleanse your intestines but your body via the liver too. Here in UA-cam I have found far more than 70 recommendations to take daily 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach, this especially in India and in the surrounding area. But everyone should find out his optimal frequency to take castor oil: once, twice or thrice the month, once, twice or thrice the week, or (why not?) daily. Essential will be exclusively that you will do this regularly.

      Castor oil has a comedogenic score of 1, meaning it is unlikely to clog the pores, but it still can for some people. For reference, a score of 0 means it won't clog thr pore and anything over a 3 is a DEFINITELY DO NOT USE! Coconut oil ranks a 4 for reference ss well. So to be on the safe side I would only use oils that score a 0. However, castor oil's thick and sticky nature can aggravate sensitive and acne prone skin, or people who's pore clog easily if they do not cleanse thoroughly and leave behind some dirt, skin, or face wash film, that gets trapped underneath castor oils sticky thickness.

  • @soupafleye

    i used to layer castor oil on my face in college a few years ago and i’d be rushing to class and forget to pat it in 🤣 looking greasy as hell 💀 but i have very dry skin and it works great for me in terms of healing and brightening and calming no acne etc. it works better when your face is wet but i’m currently incorporating hemp seed which has a comedogenic rating of 0. hemp has a lot of moisturizing properties that i really need coz castor doesn’t quite do enough for me. i think i was just using the vanicream face wash for sensitive skin at that time so i wasn’t actually oil cleansing just using it as my only facial product. it really did clear and heal my skin. i personally think it’s too thick to oil cleanse on its own. i add hemp seed now. heritage store castor oil is good.

    • @HoneeyBee3
      @HoneeyBee3 8 місяців тому

      How are you liking the hempseed oil? I always wanted to try it! But didn't want to splurge on the price of a big bottle, if it didn't do anything miraculous on my face. 🤣 I used to use grapeseed oil for awhile and loved it! But then after about a year, it was like it stopped working for me & I didn't have my usual bright complexion as when I first started using it. Some people said it dries their skin out after awhile but I'm not sure why or how. My absolute favorite is almond oil, so I want to find a backup oil, I can rotate, or make an oil blend.. Is the hemp seed oil working well?
